
Australian Visa Medical Exams
If you are planning to visit or live in
Australia and are not a citizen, you may be required to
undergo a medical assessment by the Australian Government.
Euromedic Northwood and Cork have been nominated as
approved providers of health screening services for the Australian
Visa Medical. Our state-of-the-art centre just off the M50 in
Santry, North Dublin provides an easily accessible,
comfortable and out-of-hospital setting for the complete
medical assessment.
WHAT DOES THE HEALTH SCREEN ENTAIL?
Your health screen may consist of a range of tests
including a physical examination, bloodtests and an X-ray as
deemed appropriate by the Australian Department of Immigration and
Citizenship as part of your Visa application.
The physical examination and consultation will be performed
by our approved panel of doctors who have been nominated by the
Australian Government.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?
You must bring the following to your health examination:
- Your passport (this must be in date) and 1 photocopy of the
page that includes your photograph, name and date of birth for
identification
- Your prescription spectacles or contact lenses
- Existing specialist and/or other relevant medical reports for
known medical conditions
- Prescription medications
- Previous chest x-ray reports
- Payment is required in full on day of attendance
For Online Applications:
Please bring one of the following
- Referral letter which contains a TRN (Transaction Reference
Number
- Forms 26EH and/or 160EH which
contacts a TRN (Transaction Reference
Number).
- A Health Examination List which contains either a Health
Request ID or a HAP ID.
For Paper Applications
Please bring the following:
- Form 26 and/or Form 160
- 2 Passport size photos.

(Forms 26 and 160 only apply to Visa subclass 457,
856,857, 119 and 121)
WHERE TO GO
In Dublin, the X-ray, bloods and
medical will take place at Euromedic Northwood
just off the M50 (Junction 4, Ballymun and Naul). For full

In Cork, Euromedic can provide the
X-ray only, X-ray appointments only will take place in Euromedic Cork with the
medical performed at the Belvedere Surgery. For full directions to

FOLLOWING YOUR ATTENDANCE
After attending for your medical the results and reports will be
sent to the Australian Department of Immigration and
Citizenship.
