acquisition of MRI Ireland.
July 2007
Advanced Radiology - a diagnostic clinic located in the
Rockfield Medical Campus in Dundrum - became part of Euromedic
Ireland.
January 2008
Euromedic Ireland announced the acquisition of Northwood
Imaging, a multi-modality diagnostic imaging centre in Santry,
Dublin, now Euromedic Northwood.
March 2008
Charlemont Imaging, a diagnostic imaging clinic located in the
Charlemont Clinic in Dublin 2 became part of Euromedic Ireland.
May 2009
Euromedic Ireland established a centralised Appointment Centre
to manage appointments for all its diagnostic imaging centres.
June 2009
South Terrace X-Ray in Cork became part of Euromedic Ireland and
relocated to a state-of-the-art premises in Cork City.
August 2009
Northwood Imaging, now Euromedic Northwood relocated to a modern
premises in Swift Square, Northwood Business Park in Santry.
October 2009
Euromedic Ireland realigned all its Irish operations under the
Euromedic Ireland umbrella. The company now owns and operates four
stand-alone diagnostic imaging centres in Ireland.
January 2010
Euromedic Ireland announced its Public Private Partnership with
Sligo General Hospital. The organisation now operates the MRI
facilities at the hospital.
February 2010
Euromedic Cork was officially opened in the landmark Elysian
building in Cork City to provide diagnostic imaging services
throughout the Munster region.
June 2010
Euromedic Ireland centres in Dublin and Cork received
international accreditation from the Joint Commission International
(JCI). The centres became the first diagnostic imaging centres to
be awarded with the Standard in Ambulatory Care.
June 2011
Dr Samuel Hamilton is appointed as Medical Director for
Euromedic Ireland to oversee clinical governance of its network of
diagnostic imaging centres throughout Ireland.
